Much randomosity!
--KKM rewatch finished! I didn't realize until about five episodes from the end that I should have been taking notes because my god, so many things at the beginning of the series change when you know about the later reveals. Unfortunately my daydream of coming back to the fandom and finding that the quality of the fics had gone up or the ratio of pairings had evened out did not come true, but you take what you can--at least there are more doujinshi to talk myself out of buying now.
--Now I have no idea what to watch; I watch to lurk around KKM for a while so it can't be anything that will distract me into wandering towards a different fandom. Maybe I should take a quick run through Baccano! again, and watch with ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) nin_tendo's chronology this time. (Months later the OP theme is still automatically cheering--the music starts up, Isaac and Miria swing into that candy story, and suddenly the world is a brighter place.)
--Why is it that whenever Apocalypse Now airs on TV, it's always at 1-2 in the morning? I don't think I've ever seen it at an ordinary daytime hour. Are they trying to catch the insomniacs/caffeine addicts/nightmare sufferers?
--This popped up on one of my work listservs last week: library-themed wedding invitation. Quite cute.
--Next volume of After School Nightmare is supposed to be out this week and I am dying of suspense. I am half tempted to hit the bookstores today and see if it's on the shelf, even though Amazon will ship the pre-ordered copy out soon. Gender weirdness + screwed-up psychology + trainwreck relationships = best Valentine's Day reading ever.
...you'd think not updating for over a week would mean a more interesting LJ entry, but no, my life really is this boring. |
